Unifying four business units into one functional office space
In an exciting move to bring its four business units under one roof, we designed Western Financial a new facility to house its financial and insurance divisions.
The new office was designed to develop process efficiency, foster internal business development and promote the company’s ideologies. We rose to the challenge of adapting Western Financial's strong branding, emphasizing its Canadian roots into the design concept creating a new culture within the company's workplace. Constructing the offices and meeting rooms within the center of the building offers staff in the general office areas views to the exterior and access to daylight. Our open office concept creates pockets of informal meeting space conducive to collaboration, while increasing access to daylight.
The building also features a call center, gym, large staff room, and events area. We used bold colors to speak to the nature of the people and landscape of the prairies, while identifying each of the business units within the larger space.
Our team managed all the challenges and logistics that were required to move hundreds of staff members and amalgamating four offices into one center. And in the end, Western Financial Group was delighted with both the interior environment that was created, along with the logistical management of the move.
