2024 Paris Olympics Technology and Content Focused Office

To prepare for their role with the 2024 Paris Olympics, our US media company client needed new office space in the city for two of their divisions ahead of the games. They reached out to our team to help.

Comprising an entire floor, the space would host two separate divisions with very different service types—one focused on technology and the other on content. Our design needed to include specialized technology labs, multifunction meeting and gathering spaces, and branding elements.

We provided interior design, furniture selection, branding, and signage coordination and also established the engineering basis of design. At the end of the design development phase, we transferred documentation to the local architect our client had selected to be the boots on the ground for surveying and construction. Our role then shifted to one of quality assurance, overseeing and advising on any design changes, engineering systems, and final integration of components.

Meeting weekly with the combined French, US, and UK teams, we advised on discoveries after demolition, supported finding alternative products due to European trade rules, and directed the execution of design changes proposed by our client. We also worked with our client’s standard product and furniture providers to bid furniture with a local, French dealer and find equivalent pieces and products.

This international team effort helped our client to comfortably fulfill their role in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
