Infrastructure improvements help keep motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists safe

Valued at over $1 billion, the MOVEBR Transportation and Infrastructure Improvements Program is the most significant infrastructure investment in East Baton Rouge Parish history. The City-Parish and the Department of Transportation and Drainage selected us as one of two program managers to oversee projects that will help relieve traffic congestion and enhance community roadway corridors throughout the Parish.

As part of the overall program, our team will focus on improvement projects that address existing corridors, community enhancement, and parish-wide traffic light coordination—to help improve traffic flow, safety, pedestrian and bicycle mobility, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility, and transit accessibility. Part of our work involves stakeholder engagement, funding assistance, program management as well as overall program governance. Our work also includes project management, design and construction management and oversight, and program controls.

Additionally, we assisted East Baton Rouge on the parish and city levels with implementing an outreach program for eligible small businesses in the local area who have not been able to take full advantage of past business opportunities.

When the MOVEBR Program is complete, motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists will have safer, more inclusive options to get around in the Parish.
