Inspired by a desire to make a meaningful impact on communities around him, Matthew chose a career in engineering to help solve large scale, complex problems. Through his role in project controls, he works with teams to find innovative solutions to improve project performance for successful project delivery.
Bringing creative problem-solving skills to his role, Matthew performs program controls for the MOVEBR infrastructure program—a $1.4 billion roadway infrastructure program in Baton Rouge—where he focuses on financial cost controls, project scheduling, and project management information systems (PMIS) support. He performs project controls for more than 90 projects, as well as at the overall program level to support the program in meeting its objectives.
When he’s not managing large projects, Matthew appreciates exploring nature and the great outdoors, embarking on family road trips to state and national parks with his wife, three kids, and dog. At home, he enjoys cooking with his kids and making a mess in the kitchen.
