Delivering low latency connectivity in Canada
STACK Infrastructure—a data center company created to meet the needs of rapidly scaling businesses and hyperscale companies—set out to expand into Canada. Our team was there to help.
The TOR01A data center marks STACK’s debut in the international market. Located in downtown Toronto, the data center offers low latency to Canada’s biggest companies and connectivity to major midwestern and east coast markets. Housing computing machines and their associated equipment (such as servers, storage drives, and network gear), this 92,000 square foot (8,547 square metre) facility splits into four-megawatt (MW) data halls at an N+2 redundancy on critical systems and cooling. Ten water-cooled chillers cool the facility. Our team provided facility planning, contract administration, commissioning support, and mechanical electrical plumbing and structural engineering services for this project.
Upon completion, this project will bring improved reliability and speed to digital services for Toronto and Southern Ontario market. What’s next? We are currently assisting with the design for the neighboring 24MW TOR01B building which will be followed by the 24MW TOR01C building.
