Andrew is a senior ecologist and project manager who provides terrestrial ecology expertise in a wide range of sectors. He has extensive experience with flora and fauna evaluations, impact assessments, and permitting. He has provided expert witness testimony at numerous hearings and tribunals.
With an interest in research, Andrew has collaborated with the University of Guelph on an emerging technology that uses environmental DNA (eDNA) to assess the presence of different species of wildlife, including species at risk.
Andrew’s breadth of experience positions him to understand the potential for impacts that development activities have to natural heritage features and wildlife. This also helps him to develop mitigation and rehabilitation initiatives that minimize the net impacts to the environment and project design. This experience and knowledge of policy allows Andrew to navigate complex projects through various approvals at all levels of government in a wide range of sectors.
