With over 45 years in the industry, Jim has experience in project management and engineering for water treatment, conveyance, and storage facilities. An award-winning water treatment expert, he’s one of the lead authors of the Stantec Water Treatment Principles and Design Textbook (3rd Edition), which is used to teach water treatment in universities across the country.
Jim has successfully managed over 250 treatment projects with a total construction value exceeding $4 billion. He has overseen project teams of up to 200 staff members and 20 subconsultant teams working simultaneously. As the project manager for Pure Water Southern California, he’s handled all aspects of engineering management including the completion of more than 50 tasks.
When he isn’t managing water related projects, Jim enjoys being outdoors. Whether he’s camping, fishing, hiking, or spending time on the water, he finds happiness in the sights and sounds of nature.
