Ricky is an environmental professional who brings more than 34 years of experience and knowledge of local and federal environmental laws and regulations. He is recognized in the environmental community as a regulatory expert and a champion for Virginia’s natural resources.
Skilled at identifying environmental risks and negotiating with regulatory agencies, Ricky solves difficult environmental issues by identifying efficiencies that minimize project delays and deliver a complaint project on schedule. He is currently responsible for leading our Natural Resource practice in Virginia and is most known for delivering transportation related projects. He likes that his job involves science in the natural, cultural, and human environments and that each project allows him to think strategically, utilize his creativity, and—most of all—work with smart, energetic, and passionate people.
Outside of work, Ricky likes “putzing around”—participating in all types of outdoor activities fishing, hiking, golf, gardening, and attending concerts, art shows, and local brewery and winery events.
