Currently leading our US Airport Buildings practice, Alex has led multiple large-scale aviation and transit-related projects that help improve travel for millions of people every day. As mobility hubs, airports offer the greatest opportunity to connect people. Driven by a strong belief in the way architecture and transit can work together to empower current and future generations, he combines strategic thinking with a high design acumen.
Alex understands how the many, often disparate, elements within an airport project contribute to its vision and ultimate success. His passion for people, creating great work, driving value, and doing what’s right energizes his fellow team members and earns the respect of his clients. He’s received several American Institute of Architects (AIA) President’s Awards for his leadership in bridging the gap between high performance and high design.
Away from his airport buildings leadership, Alex enjoys traveling to new places and discovering the local culture.
