Over the course of his career, Alex has developed a reputation for placing a strong focus on the needs of his clients and empowering fellow team members. His practice is driven by a strong belief in the power of architecture and transit to create equity among people—believing that great design pushes beyond buildings to break down physical and social barriers, advancing the ability of current and future generations to lead healthy, prosperous lives.
Alex has led multiple large-scale aviation and transit-related projects that improve travel for millions of people on a daily basis. Prior to joining Stantec, he led the Replacement Air Traffic Control Tower at San Francisco International Airport and numerous airport terminal projects at Los Angeles International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Denver International Airport, and in Doha, Qatar.
Adamant about advancing the profession, he leads a NUTS+BOLTS continuing education program within Stantec which focuses on exposing staff to key issues that face our industry.
