Shane is a project manager, facilitator, and senior climate risk and resilience consultant. He specializes in climate risk assessments, adaptation planning, and urban resilience as it relates to buildings, infrastructure, communities, and cities across Canada and the United States.
Shane prides himself on his diverse background in engineering and planning, collaborating across disciplines and convening diverse stakeholders, leading him to work on the provincial, municipal, and healthcare authority level. Some of his notable work includes consulting with the City of Cambridge, Ontario in the development of their climate adaptation plan, as well as development of a portfolio-level climate risk assessment methodology and adaptation framework in Vancouver for British Columbia’s government’s portfolio of approximately 1500 properties.
Outside of work, Shane can be found exploring British Columbia’s great outdoors. He is an avid backcountry camper, runner, kayaker, and cyclist.
