With more than 18 years of experience in architecture and project management, Scott has managed the design and construction of numerous education facilities. As a design architect, his favorite projects always include collaborative work—with owners, community stakeholders, and project teams. His goal? Find creative solutions to problems that far exceed preconceived notions.
Sport facility design is a passion for Scott, not just because of the value he creates for students, but also for the community pride and economic development that these facilities generate. Athletics programs help students learn leadership, respect, discipline, self-esteem, and teamwork—character development that daily studies don’t usually focus on.
When he isn’t at work, Scott might be coaching his son’s baseball or basketball teams, or the family might be out hiking, kayaking, or bike riding. Lately, Scott has also been brewing beer. He’s even had a few successful batches to his name.
