Over his 30 years in the industry, Scott has developed an enviable breadth of port and maritime experience, in Australia and internationally. From project planning to delivery of port-related infrastructure projects, his considerable strategic and executive experience is related to defense, government, and private sector business, particularly in the maritime and aviation sectors.
Most recently, Scott worked on an AUD$85 million project to develop a new port for the island nation of Nauru—demonstrating his wholistic skillset in trade forecasting, supply chain, navigational assessment, coastal processes, and environmental performance. His work also included greenhouse assessments, infrastructure design, and construction management. Uniquely the project also involved his expertise in organizational planning, regulations, and finance.
In his spare time, Scott reinvests in the industry through participation on boards and representation for the region on the international Maritime Navigation Committee. He’s one of approximately 45 country and regional representatives globally, facilitating guidelines for the maritime industry.
