An environmental scientist, terrestrial ecologist, and project manager, Michael has extensive experience working in natural resources. He provides conservation planning and strategy development, endangered species permitting, statistical design and data analysis, and other environmental compliance support for a variety of transportation and energy clients.
Michael was a primary author of the nationwide Conservation Benefit Agreement for property owners to voluntarily provide habitat for at-risk bumble bees. He also served as project manager and lead planner supporting the enrollment of multiple organizations in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s nationwide Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances for the monarch butterfly.
When he’s not planning conservation strategies, Michael enjoys cycling, visiting new cities, outdoor activities, civic engagement, and spending time with his friends and family.
