As the transportation planning group manager for the Raleigh Office, Andrea leads multidisciplinary, complex, NEPA studies by bringing together the various planning and design components of transportation projects. Because NEPA encompasses a wide range of environmental regulations, NEPA documents thereby encompass a wide range of planning and design analyses. It’s Andrea’s job to make sure that all technical evaluations are conducted systematically and comprehensively. She also specializes in natural resource investigations in compliance with NEPA. These investigations include stream and wetland delineations and protected species surveys.
Andrea is currently working on a number of transportation projects across the state including the widening of NC 150 in Iredell County, a route that traverses Lake Norman in an area lined with several historic properties and businesses. When she isn’t solving the environmental impacts of our transportation projects, she enjoys hiking, gardening, swimming, and horseback riding with her husband and two daughters.
