Richard is a LEED-accredited technical architect and construction administrator with a strong background in particle therapy. He brings nearly 40 years of experience as an architect, and his portfolio includes several corporate, government, commercial, and institutional projects in Washington, DC and the Mid-Atlantic.
Having provided technical expertise and construction oversight on every Stantec proton project, Richard performs technical reviews of all drawings produced by Stantec and external architectural team members, and coordinates with the team of architects and engineers to review consultant drawings. In addition to technical drawing reviews, he is in charge of writing the specifications for his projects. Richard is also involved in staff mentoring as part of a team that compiles lessons learned on projects—based on field conditions that arise—to improve the overall quality of our documents.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys sailing, bicycle riding, reading, and cooking.
