With a career spanning over 20 years, Dave has worked on major projects across various sectors including energy, mining, water, infrastructure, and ecosystem restoration. He actively engages in helping others solve complex problems and collaborates with fellow professionals to develop and enhance our assessment and permitting practice. Additionally, he has many years of environmental assessment experience and tries to keep projects sustainable throughout their duration.
While Dave finds many aspects of his work rewarding, he is particularly invested in his current project in the Peace-Athabasca Delta within Wood Buffalo National Park. This project not only focuses on the restoration of ecosystem processes but also emphasizes collaboration with local Indigenous communities. Dave is passionate about weaving together western science and Indigenous knowledge in the design and assessment of the project.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending quality time with his family in the mountains. Whether it's hiking, backpacking, trail running, or skiing, he finds solace and joy in exploring the natural wonders that the mountains have to offer.
