Alexandros Grivas appointed Business Development Director of Stantec’s international development team in Belgium

Stantec recently promoted Alexandros Grivas to Business Development Director for its international development division in Belgium.
As head of business development, Grivas will provide leadership and hands-on facilitation of all business activities while leading a team of more than 20 business developers in Stantec’s offices in La Hulpe and Brussels. The team specializes in bringing together consortia and experts for donor-funded projects that support the development of communities across Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. Key clients include international financial institutions such as the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, and other major development banks across the globe.
Grivas started with Stantec as an energy finance expert. He has a background in economics and 10 years of experience in formulating policy and regulatory interventions to help build better access to sustainable and cost-efficient energy in developing countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. In addition to his new role, he will remain involved in projects as part of Stantec’s Center of Expertise in Energy.
