Cadetships
Become an engineer. Join our cadet scheme!
As a cadet, you’ll work at Stantec while studying part time to achieve your engineering qualification. If you’re driven to excel in your studies and succeed at work, then a cadetship at Stantec Aotearoa New Zealand is the one for you.
You’ll be supported with up to 30 days per year paid time away from work to study or attend classes, plenty of opportunities to share knowledge with other cadets, an assigned mentor to guide your studies, the chance to work on diverse and interesting projects so you can put your theory to practical use, and exposure to a broad range of engineering disciplines—civil water and transport, mechanical, electrical, structural, digital, and geotechnical.
Our cadets are part of a top-tier, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and design firm with a global reach of 400 locations across six continents, made up of designers, engineers, planners, scientists, and project managers innovating together at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships.
