A place where health practitioners can work together in the most creative ways imaginable

A great partnership can produce spectacular results within the educational community.  The University of Alberta and Alberta Health Services accomplished greatness by working together in developing the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy which brings together 3,400 students to focus on healthcare education and research. Playing a key role in the institution’s fundamental objective of improving the patient and family healthcare experience, access, and quality through an interdisciplinary practice and research model, the building eliminates symbolic and physical boundaries between traditional healthcare disciplines.  As a result, the ECHA cultivates an environment where health practitioners can work together in the most creative ways imaginable.

By 2020, this learning approach is expected to boost health sciences enrollment by 70 percent, giving students access to the latest healthcare developments, while strengthening the province's ability to meet the need for highly educated healthcare professionals. In association with HOK.
