As a seasoned transportation engineer, Michael is known for delivering timely, high-quality results and building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and clients alike. He manages transportation projects and has provided environmental assessments, categorical exclusions, and right-of-way and construction consultations. He has also overseen the production of complex environmental documents such as draft and final environmental impact statements.
Michael believes that listening to community concerns is a critical first step to building trust, the foundation of successful transportation projects. He demonstrated this mindset on the I-526 Lowcountry Corridor West project in South Carolina. To overcome the community’s sense of mistrust based on previous negative experiences with transportation projects, he helped develop an extensive outreach plan that we have applied to similar efforts across the country.
When he isn’t busy leading transportation projects, Michael enjoys outdoor activities with friends and family.
