As a landscape architect, Micheal creates solutions that pay attention to how people move through and experience space. Using his knowledge of healthcare environments, he integrates these experience learnings into all public spaces he designs to create equity and improve opportunities for public health.
Micheal’s passion is working on multidisciplinary teams where his knowledge and design skills can be shared across discipline boundaries. He often collaborates on not only landscape design but also the design of buildings and interiors. Having the skill to think about small details and larger regional contexts positions Micheal in a unique place where he can collaborate on a range of project types.
In his free time, Micheal can often be found walking around the city he is currently visiting, hiking in rural landscapes, or reading. He is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in design, where he is exploring the relationship between landscape architecture and public health.
