Paul is an experienced nuclear safety consultant and safety case manager. He’s mainly worked on efforts involving the UK Naval nuclear program and the facilities required to support the submarines throughout their life.
Paul’s recent efforts have included providing nuclear safety case support to major infrastructure projects at Devonport and Faslane. This involved acting as a lead technical checker for a safety case program for a UK Naval nuclear licensed facility and as safety case manager for a new facility at Devonport.
As a director, Paul interfaces with technical leads in various client organizations. He also works with regulators, notably the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and the UK Defence Nuclear Safety Regulator (DNSR). He’s also helped our team achieve approved supplier status with multiple clients and been involved with key frameworks run by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority Estate.
When he isn’t evaluating nuclear safety, Paul is a keen follower (and ex-player) of Rugby Union.
