With nearly a decade of experience, Liz has honed her expertise in critical areas such as local, state, and federal permitting, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, wetland delineations, habitat assessments, and protected species evaluations. Her work often involves implementing specific analysis such as the Uniform Mitigation Assessment Method and geographic information system (GIS) mapping, which are essential for understanding and managing ecological impacts—particularly when it comes to subsea cable permitting. Liz thrives on navigating the complex world of environmental permitting and advising clients on regulations while contributing to ecological sustainability.
One of Liz's most cherished projects was with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, where she played a pivotal role in a large-scale restoration effort in Hendry County. This project aimed to revitalize the hydrology of a vast 22,000-acre (8,903-hectare) conservation area, benefiting a diverse range of wildlife, including the Florida panther. For Liz, the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful project that supports both wildlife and the watershed was a highlight of her career, showcasing her dedication to making a positive impact on the environment.
