Kelly knows that planning for the future relies on attainable, sustainable project funding. She uses her financial management consulting expertise to collaborate with local, state, and federal governments to develop long-term financial plans for their communities.
As part of her advisory services, Kelly works with clients to develop strategies to identify, secure, and leverage available funding. She updates or creates development impact fees, finds alternative funding sources through grant or loan programs, crafts strategy to allocate costs between government funds, and implements processes to streamline compliance. She also evaluates revenue sufficiency and creates equitable utility rate structures for water, sewer, and stormwater funds.
With two sons, Kelly keeps very busy going to all their extracurricular activities after work and on the weekends. Some of her favorite things to do include riding bikes to breakfast on Sunday mornings and boating to local sandbars to look for sand dollars. To stay balanced, Kelly makes time for a workout and meditation early each morning before her boys get up and the day starts.
