From sidewalk improvements to roundabouts and roadway widenings or bridge replacements, Kari’s passion lies in transportation planning and design. As an Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) with more than 20 years of experience, her infrastructure designs always keep sustainability and resiliency in mind.
Kari has designed and managed projects for cities and counties around the United States, including Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, and Midland, Texas. Over the past 5 years, she has managed and designed 34 bridge replacements totaling over $55M in construction costs with lengths ranging from 40 to 2,000 feet. She recently served as the project manager for a $3M Statewide Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) bridge replacement contract, where she successfully managed work authorizations for five different districts concurrently with overlapping design schedules.
