He provides analysis, habitat and creek restoration, and biological resources investigations.
Jared is an established thought leader in the fields of stream and wetland ecosystem restoration, fish migration, rare plants, and endangered species. He’s earned a reputation for his scientific expertise and experience in overcoming complex environmental challenges, developing creative mitigation strategies, and quantifying impacts.
Recently, Jared and his team partnered with The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit from the Netherlands, and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works to guide them through the permitting and approval process for the Ballona Creek Trash Interceptor Pilot Project. The project is designed to demonstrate a scalable solution to plastic pollution entering the ocean via inland waterways.
