A recognized herpetology expert, Terry specializes in animal and natural area surveys, herpetology, threatened and endangered species surveys, ESA Section 7 and Section 10 consultation, wetland delineation and permitting, wetland mitigation design and monitoring, and coordination of environmental impact statements and assessments. In addition, he is an Adjunct Natural Resources Professor at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa where he teaches a course on Wildlife Ecology. Terry balances work with play by conducting rattlesnake research and catching up on some light reading with Journal of Herpetology.
His most recent project experience includes natural resource surveys and permitting at 40 wind farms in 13 states, including the Fowler Ridge Wind Farm Environmental Impact Statement, and numerous projects for the Iowa DOT, including the Iowa Highway 100 Rare Turtle Survey and Radio-Telemetry. Currently, Terry is working on an acoustic bat survey in Grand Canyon National Park.
