Stephanie is involved in all aspects of the design process—from initial planning and conceptual design through schematic design, construction documents, and construction administration. Typically, she’s most heavily involved in the development of professional graphics, plans, and renderings that will be presented to commercial and healthcare clients to illustrate design concepts and explain how the team will achieve project goals.
One of her recent projects, the MD Anderson healthcare campus in Houston, Texas, includes an existing proton center and a new proton center across the street. Stephanie is working with MD Anderson to provide a new master plan and to study the feasibility of reusing the existing proton center after the new center opens. They’re also looking at adding a heavy ion center adjacent to the site—potentially the first of its kind in the US.
Originally from West Virginia, Stephanie is an avid rock climber and mountaineer. Her best days are spent out in the wilderness rock or ice climbing, running, or traveling to hard-to-reach places. She’s scaled the Kautz Glacier in Mt. Rainier, Washington, and climbed the tufas in Kalymnos, Greece.
