Timothy leads our Multimodal Planning group, which emphasizes the importance of mode choice and creating safe streets for everyone. Holding a strong belief that our streets are for all people, he advocates for data-informed planning that combines inclusive community engagement with data analysis and technical best practices from across the nation. From bicycle and pedestrian planning to corridor and small area planning studies, to traffic calming design manuals and more, his approach to mobility planning involves and considers everyone in a community.
With safety at the forefront of their project work, Timothy and his team prioritize complete streets fundamentals that enhance multimodal access, promote regional growth, and build resilient communities. Two decades of experience with systems-level planning have sharpened and refined his team leadership and project management skillsets.
When he isn’t improving transportation safety and equity, Timothy enjoys playing ice hockey, hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains, and exploring cities both new and old.
