Out of Bellevue, Washington, Dave has more than 40 years of experience in water resource development and infrastructure, hydroelectric power, dam, and fish protection projects. He serves as vice president and principal civil engineer of our Energy team, focusing his expertise towards in civil and structural engineering design, planning, and construction.
Dave has extensive experience taking projects from planning and initial conceptual design through to final design, bidding, and construction management. He believes in continual improvement and sector-wide knowledge sharing. Evident, considering his published articles on penstock design, spillway modifications, dam outlet works design, pumped storage, and fish passage features.
Dave has also served as the independent consultant for FERC-required dam safety inspections and Part 12D reports.
