Rachel is a nuclear specialist with experience in nuclear environmental protection, permit compliance, assurance, and regulation. As a nuclear management consultant, she works on a range of projects within the nuclear new build and operational nuclear power sectors.
Drawing on in-house experience gained while working within the environment teams for both the Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C projects, Rachel is comfortable operating in challenging regulatory environments. She applies her expertise in project, technical, and commercial management to balance the needs of all interested parties and deliver successful outcomes. Rachel has also completed extensive technical training and a range of placements in different locations across EDF Energy’s operational fleet, which underpins her focus on environmental engineering integration.
Away from environmental consulting, Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly by the sea, whether it’s coastal walking, surfing or scuba diving—though the UK waters can be a challenge.
