David is widely-known among the South Carolina transportation community. As a senior structural engineer and project manager, David has been designing bridge structures in South Carolina for over four decades. He specializes in the design of highway grade separation and waterway bridges including complex multilevel and urban interchanges, navigable channel crossings; widening, rehabilitation and new construction; freight rail bridges including moveable span rehabilitation; high speed rail bridges and stations; and commuter light rail bridges and drainage structures.
David has worked throughout the southeast with both public and private clients including the South and North Carolina Departments of Transportation. He’s active on the American Council of Engineering Consultant (ACEC-SC) South Carolina Chapter’s partnering committee and has demonstrated a passion for teaching as Adjunct Professor with the University of South Carolina’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
