Ivan has over 10 years of experience in conveyance and pump station systems, distribution and collection systems, water and wastewater treatment plants, and groundwater and supply wells. From small projects to large programs, he has delivered condition assessments, pilot technologies, master plans, feasibility studies, and conceptual and detail designs.
A senior water and wastewater engineer, one of Ivan’s recent projects involved managing the design-build Bayshore Pump Station Rehabilitation project. Uniquely located in the median of a high traffic street, Ivan and the team faced design and construction challenges. By collaborating with the contractor and owner, they found mutually agreeable solutions that overcame the traffic and location issues, delivering efficient results and budget savings.
Born in the Ecuadorian Andes Mountains, Ivan spent 18 years living at 8,366 feet (2,550 metres) above sea level. Now living at sea level, he enjoys spending time with his kids, exercising, and reading.
