Peter is the divisional director of our nuclear management consultancy team. Having worked in the nuclear sector for two decades, he combines his scientific background in earth sciences with a passion for energy transition, decarbonisation, and nuclear energy.
With an aptitude for strategic thinking, Peter has contributed to nationally significant nuclear infrastructure and radioactive waste strategy development projects. He’s worked on a wide range of new build (at both gigawatt and small-scale), generating, and decommissioning programmes. He’s led the development and integration of innovative waste management strategies, performed environmental assessments, and developed governance arrangements for radioactive waste management. Clients often engage him to provide independent peer review and specialist advice. Additionally, as a business leader, he has led the provision of technical oversight and work winning activities in support of business growth.
And when he isn’t working as a catalyst for change in the nuclear energy sector, Peter enjoys a range of sports such as running and tennis, and also has passion for motoring.
