Katy connects clients across the US to critical financing solutions. Her role? To identify and evaluate government and private grant opportunities and match them to clients with funding needs to achieve their strategic, financial, and programmatic goals. Her primary responsibilities as a member of the North American Funding Program include researching, development, and applying for and administering grants.
With over 10 years of experience in transportation, economic development, and public policy, Katy has a talent for creating catalytic community impacts using infrastructure investment. She ensures impactful and meaningful community-driven outcomes in all her work. She’s passionate about building places people love and has helped communities and clients secure over $430M in federal, state, and private grants.
In her free time, Katy is a voracious reader (biographies to social sciences to true crime) who enjoys travel, flower arranging, and volunteering in the community. Flower arranging lets her design something beautiful and think in three dimensions—a creative outlet using her architecture degree—and she finds that volunteering is the best way to get to know a new city and make friends.
