Since beginning her career in cultural resource management, Katie has conducted archaeological fieldwork across the United States, working on projects in the Midwest, MidAtlantic, Southeast, and Great Lakes regions. Her experience includes investigations in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and Virginia. As a principal investigator within our cultural resource management practice, she’s driven by a belief that well-executed archaeology is essential to responsible development and stewardship of the past.
Katie has directed archaeological investigations across the United States, working on sites ranging from precontact villages and mounds to historic homesteads and burials. She’s skilled in photogrammetry and passionate about using technology to find new ways to document archaeological and cultural resources. She also has deep expertise in practical archaeology, a rigorous commitment to regulatory excellence, and the leadership needed to deliver high-quality results on complex projects.
When Katie is offsite, she enjoys traveling and spending time outside.
