With more than 16 years of experience as an environmental engineer, Mike has all the skills you need to design a stream restoration project that considers natural and engineered solutions. A background in civil engineering and experience working with our FEMA flood mapping group allows him brings an even deeper perspective into stream and hydraulic modeling, resilience, and monitoring.
Mike’s fascination with streams goes back to his youth, playing in the creeks near his home in Kentucky. He has successfully paired his environmental engineering skills with a strong interest in computers and AutoCAD functions. “I’m always looking to use technology to help our clients to find the best solutions for effective and resilient stream restoration,” he says.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time outside with his wife and daughter, trying to visit all the national parks, landscape photography, working in the garden, and creating DIY smart home gadgets.
