As a senior project designer, Aileen is involved with every phase of the design process including programming, space planning, schematic and design development, furniture and finish specification, and construction documentation. She also works with more junior designers in planning and production, and really enjoys the opportunity to mentor them to help further their careers.
Aileen has over 20 years of experience in the workplace, healthcare, higher education, and science and technology design markets. She enjoys working closely with clients and lead project teams to provide design oversight and coordination—she finds that working on national accounts lets her develop ongoing, meaningful relationships with her clients. As each project ends, Aileen evaluates the successes—and misses—so she can create a better standard for future endeavors.
When she isn’t designing spaces, Aileen might be out with some good friends exploring Chicago’s culinary scene.
