Janeth thrives on facing down challenging situations in her day-to-day work. She frequently overcomes obstacles as a senior environmental specialist based in Peru, where she’s held important roles in environmental permitting and technical coordination for medium and large-scale mining projects throughout South America.
She’s also practiced in providing environmental services for public sector environmental liability remediation projects and evaluating environmental impact assessment studies. More than a decade of experience in the industry has taught her the importance of being adaptable, of optimizing resources, and of prioritizing client satisfaction. Recently, Janeth was involved in the modification of an environmental and social impact assessment for the Yanacocha mine in the northern highlands of Peru. The large scope and tight schedule of the project required her to use her strong communication skills to keep the client updated on its progress.
In her spare time, Janeth enjoys reading self-help books to relax and to contribute to her personal growth. A few of her favorites are Sincrodestino by Deepak Chopra and No te cruces en tu camino by Osho.
