Rafal’s career in civil engineering was inspired by his childhood enthusiasm for seeking to understand how things work, building with Lego blocks, and watching the Discovery Channel. Now, as a civil project technical lead in renewable energy, he’s dedicated to understanding clients’ objectives and constraints, building strong relationships, and setting up projects for success from the start.
Known for his resilience, patience, and communication skills, Rafal has a proactive approach when it comes to delivering projects. His work on the utility-scale Gunnedah Solar Farm was a rewarding energy transition project—he played a key role in the construction phase, inspecting progress on-site and collaborating with industry contractors and our teams across the globe. This project deepened his passion for renewable energy, making it his key focus.
When he’s not working with renewables, Rafal enjoys all kinds of sports including running, ice skating, snowboarding, football, and tennis. He also likes camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
