In 2007, while working full-time, Reid added to his expertise by completing his master of engineering degree. A lifelong learner, he continues to grow his knowledge through developing innovative solutions to today’s air quality challenges, internal and external training, and presenting at technical conferences.
Today, as the technical leader for our Air Quality group in Canada, Reid focuses on regulatory strategy and applications, emission control and reduction strategies, emissions inventory development, and has supported clients across many sectors, including government, infrastructure, oil and gas, mining, power generation, and forestry. Reid has also played an integral role in supporting technology-based partnerships, working with clients using satellite, aircraft, and drone measurements to quantify and reduce methane emissions.
Like many parents, Reid has a very active family, and you can often find him spending time with them in Alberta's Rocky Mountains and badlands or volunteering as a leader with his son’s Scouts Canada group.
