Prokopis has extensive experience in roadway design, infrastructure, construction and project management, much of which he gained while serving with Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) in three provincial regions . He’s won multiple Manitoba Heavy Construction Association and MTI awards in design, construction, and management for new alignment, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of grading, base, bituminous, and concrete highway projects.
Over his more than 30 years as a transportation engineer, Prokopis has learned that high knowledge and solid experience are necessary requirements to deliver high quality engineering assignments. He believes that applying engineering principles lays a solid foundation for technical work, as does developing a strong understanding of community needs and project conditions.
When he isn’t busy working on transportation projects, you’ll find Prokopis eagerly watching for the next play in his favorite sports or traveling to Greece to enjoy good times with family and friends.
