Jim is responsible for the overall management, design, and development of environmental stewardship plans including wetlands and upland forest buffers. He’s been involved with all phases of wetland creation, restoration, and preservation projects including feasibility studies, regulatory coordination, conceptual and final design, and construction coordination, as well as project maintenance and success monitoring. Jim also works with Stantec engineers to develop effective wetlands for stormwater treatment and provides planting design for LID features to naturally incorporate them into the overall landscape.
As a licensed landscape architect, Jim is also routinely involved in the design and development of landscape plans for residential, municipal, and commercial projects. His principle area of specialization is the development of plans which blend the natural with the created environment through the use of native plant material and indigenous building materials.
