As business director for energy and resources, John is responsible for strategy development and implementation within the UK, whilst providing leadership and subject matter expertise to energy and infrastructure opportunities throughout the global Stantec business. John has over 24 years of experience in client, consulting and contracting organisations, giving him a comprehensive understanding of current and future policy direction, and implementation.
John has led our successful growth in the energy sector, with recent appointments from major waste management companies, power generators, developers, Transmission Network Operators and Distribution Network Operators. This has consolidated Stantec’s position in the industry as the advisor of choice for specialist technical and environmental support. The UK has a huge amount of capital infrastructure on its horizon, John’s experience has positioned him well to provide smarter strategic thinking, bringing technical expertise into the fold for our clients from day one.
