With over 15 years of experience in process design, Mike has a deep understanding of how systems function, from both a business and engineering perspective. He learned firsthand from running his own business how the built environment can affect the function of a business. This gave him an appreciation of things from the client perspective as he progressed in his career.
Since joining us, one of Mike’s notable projects involved a solar cell manufacturing plant in Georgia. He worked on the process gas and delivery portions, which involved piping systems design and material selection. He drew heavily on his previous experience in the semiconductor industry and applied the knowledge he’d gained to this effort.
When he isn’t enhancing process designs, Mike enjoys spending time with his kids, being outside, rock climbing, and traveling. You can also find him working on small hobbyist projects that combine engineering with hands-on skills like welding and machining.
