John has six years of experience in the geotechnical and rock engineering fields, specializing in mining infrastructure, slope stability, and residential/commercial site development. Throughout his career, he’s gained international experience in soil and rock conditions, with a focus on rock slope remediation across Canada, United States, and internationally.
John’s passion is people. In his projects, he acts as a trusted partner with clients to find a solution together—getting them more involved throughout the project process allows for stronger relationships, benefiting communities for the long term. John facilitates connections across Stantec’s global network to support varying needs of clients.
John was the Field Engineer for Cape Breton National Park rock slope remediation project and is currently a Project Engineer for the Black Watch Pass and Winton Hill Railway Trail rock slope remediation projects in Bermuda.
