Thomas is a structural design engineer who has worked on a series of commercial, infrastructure, residential, and industrial projects. He’s skilled in the design of steel, masonry, timber, reinforced concrete, precast, and tilt-up panel structures for a range of applications.
Through client-facing roles on a variety of projects, Thomas has developed strong communication skills. He focuses on producing design work that incorporates constructability and material efficiency with strong attention to detail. One of his most memorable projects was assessing cyclone damage to more than 50 bridges in Central Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, and aiding in crucial repair coordination.
When he isn’t refining structural infrastructure designs, Thomas engages in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and surfing.
