Larry is a senior engineer with more than 30 years of experience in providing mechanical design for heavy movable structures. He produces design drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates for bridge, tunnel, lock, and dam structures throughout North America, mainly in the US Northeast where he resides. He also conducts condition assessments and oversees and evaluates mechanical construction for movable bridges.
Larry has been involved in various professional organizations over the course of his career including Heavy Movable Structures (HMS) and Committee 15 of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA).
When he isn’t busy with his current mechanical design project, Larry is passionate about exploring new places with his family. He also volunteers as a leader for his son’s Cub Scout pack.
