As a child, Reza loved drawing buildings. How they are constructed and the way they operate has been a strong influence on his studies and career direction. In his role as a commissioning authority, he leads building commissioning processes from the early design stages until the end of a building’s warranty period and beyond. He brings skills in building performance optimization for mechanical and electrical systems, building condition assessment, system testing, and has experience across several industries—education, residential towers, office buildings, as well as healthcare and commercial facilities.
Reza is a professional engineer in two provinces (British Columbia and Yukon) and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP). He is also a board member of the Building Commissioning Certification Board. He believes commissioning requires a hands-on approach and a collaborative team environment.
Outside of work, Reza enjoys Latin dancing, hiking in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
